CIERO Desserts (“CIERO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through cierodesserts.com, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
- Contact details, including your name, email address and mobile number.
- Order details, including selected desserts, pickup or delivery preference, requested date and time, delivery address, notes and payment method.
- Event-enquiry details, including event type, occasion, event description, date, exact quantity, venue and requested desserts.
- Marketing preferences when you affirmatively choose to receive CIERO offers and updates.
- Basic technical information automatically processed by our website host, such as IP address, browser type and request logs, for security and site operation.
How we use information
We use information to review and fulfill orders, confirm availability and payment, communicate with customers, prepare event quotes, check delivery eligibility, prevent fraud or misuse, maintain business records, improve the website, and send promotional email only when permission has been given.
Delivery-address verification
When delivery is selected, the address is submitted to the United States Census Bureau geocoding service to identify its location and determine whether it falls within CIERO’s delivery radius. The resulting matched address and approximate distance are saved with the order.
Service providers and disclosures
We may provide information to service providers that help us host the website, process forms, send email, manage our optional marketing list through Klaviyo, verify delivery addresses, maintain records, or complete a payment you initiate. Klaviyo receives an email address only when someone submits the newsletter form or checks the marketing-email consent box while ordering. Service providers receive information only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect CIERO, our customers, or others.
CIERO does not sell customers’ personal information.
Marketing email
Marketing is optional. You may unsubscribe using the link or instructions in a promotional email, or by contacting us. Transactional messages concerning an order or enquiry may still be sent.
Cookies and analytics
CIERO does not currently use advertising pixels or behavioral-advertising cookies. Our hosting provider may use necessary technical storage or logs to operate and secure the website. If our tracking practices materially change, this policy and any required consent choices will be updated.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to fulfill orders, communicate with customers, maintain tax and business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
